This assessment is designed to evaluate whether an individual meets diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
It includes a comprehensive review of developmental history, standardized assessment tools, clinical observation, interpretation, a written report, and a feedback session.
This assessment may be recommended when there are questions about social communication, sensory processing, behavioural patterns, or developmental differences.

Insurance Coverage & Direct Billing
Many extended health benefit plans offer coverage for psychological services, but coverage varies depending on your individual plan and provider.
Cowie Psychological Group can submit insurance claims directly to many providers using electronic claims systems when available. Please note that coverage and direct billing eligibility are determined by your insurance provider, not the clinic.

Important Note About Direct Billing
Submitting claims directly does not guarantee payment.
Direct billing eligibility depends on your specific insurance plan, province of coverage, and the type of service provided. Some plans may still require you to submit claims yourself, even if your insurer appears on our direct billing list.
PAYMENT METHODS
Payment options available are Debit, MasterCard, Visa, E-transfer, and cash.
CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY
We understand that schedules can change.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be subject to a late cancellation or no-show fee.
