Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessments

Autism Spectrum Disorder can present differently from person to person and may impact communication, emotional regulation, sensory experiences, routines, relationships, and everyday functioning.

For some individuals, signs may be recognized in early childhood. For others, especially teens and adults, challenges may become more noticeable over time or may have been misunderstood, masked, or overlooked for years.

At Cowie Psychological Group, our autism assessments are designed to provide a clearer understanding of an individual’s experiences, strengths, support needs, and functioning in daily life.

Our approach is supportive, respectful, and evidence-based. We take time to understand each client’s unique history, experiences, and goals while creating a process that feels collaborative and compassionate.
